On January 3, 2012, the Board of Supervisors enacted a Real Estate Tax for the year 2012.  The tax rate is 1 Mill for 2012.  This is the first time since 2001 that a Real Estate Tax is necessary.  The Board has contracted with Berkheimer Associates for tax collection and they can be contacted at 610-599-3143.

West Caln Township News & Notes

  • MEETING CANCELLATIONS:  The West Caln Township Board of Supervisors has canceled the June 25th, July 23rd, and August 27th work session meetings.

  • Western Chester County: Future Focus brings together the various municipalities, including West Caln Township, that make up the region who share a commitment to strong, sustainable and sensible growth.  The Future Focus Study will allow us the opportunity to gather input from all of those who live and work in the area through meetings, focus groups and surveys. As part of Western Chester County: Future Focus we will present preliminary thinking about the vision and strategies for strong economic growth for our region.  Visit http://westernchestercountyfuturefocus.com for more information.  This study is being facilitated by the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce.

  • REMINDER TO RESIDENTS:  It is a Township Ordinance that your properties must be marked clearly with your address number(s) so it is visible for Emergency Services.  Numbers should be four inches in height and of contrasting color.  The Wagontown Fire Company and Martins Corner Fire Company sells reflective address signs that meet the Township Ordinance, please visit their web sites for further information.
